We Shall Remember Them ...

Last week to commemorate remembrance day we took the children over to the church to see the knitted poppies, and the cascade of poppies down from the altar. We explained to the children what we were remembering and why we use poppies to do so. When we came back to preschool we watched a short animation put on by CBeebies to help explain this. The children made their own poppy display in preschool.
